San Diego FC have added more firepower to their front line after completing a deal for New York Red Bulls ace Lewis Morgan.
Per MLS insider Tom Bogert, NYRB will receive an MLS SuperDraft pick, while also covering a portion of his contract.

In return, SDFC will send RBNY $450k GAM this year plus add-ons, with an identical reverse action being undertaken in 2027.
The 29-year-old former MLS Comeback Player of the Year featured just three times for the Eastern Conference side in 2025, just one year after he led the club in goals with 13.
“Lewis has always handled himself with the utmost professionalism, through many tough moments in his career and many fantastic ones,” RBNY Head of Sport Julian de Guzman said. “We wish Lewis the best of luck in San Diego.”
San Diego, who already boast Danish star Anders Dreyer and Norwegian veteran Amahl Pellegrino across their front line, are looking to remain near the top of the Western Conference pile after a sensational inaugural campaign at Snapdragon Stadium.
Morgan banked 31 goals in 82 total appearances for the Red Bulls after first arriving in MLS with Inter Miami back in 2020.
