2025-26 NBA Finals Odds: Clippers, Nuggets Rise With Recent Moves

The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers in seven games to clinch the 2024-25 NBA title.

Now, with the offseason well underway, it’s time to look ahead to next season.

Will the Thunder repeat as champions? Will the Rockets — who just made a blockbuster trade for Kevin Durant — win it all next season? Or, will another active squad this summer pull off the feat?

Here are the NBA title futures at Fanduel Sportsbook as of July 16.

Well, the time between the Finals ending, the NBA Draft, and the annual free agency period has brought about a lot of change. 

OKC is still a sizable favorite to defend its title, but there has been a ton of movement below the champs, with Cleveland and Denver tied at second on the board, and the Knicks and Rockets checking in close behind. 

Cleveland had the best record in the East last season, Denver added Cam Johnson, Bruce Brown, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Jonas Valunciunas this offseason, New York added Jordan Clarkson in free agency, and the Rockets traded for Kevin Durant.

Still, the big moves continue to flow in, and on Wednesday, Bradley Beal finalized a buyout with the Phoenix Suns and plans to sign with the LA Clippers. 

With that, the Clippers’ odds jumped up to +1800, tied for eighth on the board.

LAC finished fifth in the Western Conference last season, and lost to the Nuggets in seven games in the first round of the playoffs.
