Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2026 basketball signing class.
Four-star power forward Latrell Almond listed the Vols in his top five schools, along with Oklahoma State, Maryland, Virginia and Indiana, according to Joe Tipton of On3. He will announce his commitment on Oct. 13.

The 6-foot-8, 225-pound prospect is from Petersburg High School in Richmond, Virginia. 247Sports ranks Almond as the No. 6 power forward in the class and No. 2 player in Virginia.
Tennessee offered Almond a scholarship on Sep. 25, 2023. He officially visited Tennessee on Sept. 13.
Georgetown was the first school to offer Almond a scholarship on June 20, 2022. Other Power Five schools to offer him scholarships include Mississippi State, Texas A&M, Rutgers, Florida State, North Carolina State, Ole Miss, Washington, Providence, LSU, Louisville, Kansas, Missouri, Michigan and Miami.
Small forward Ralph Scott is Tennessee’s only 2026 basketball commitment. The Vols have six commitments in their 2025 basketball recruiting class: forward DeWayne Brown, small forward Amari Evans, point guard Troy Henderson, forward Nate Ament, shooting guard Clarence Massamba and shooting guard Ethan Burg.
