Tennessee added a commitment to its 2026 basketball signing class. Three-star point guard Marquis Clark committed to Tennessee on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound prospect is from Whitney Young High School in Chicago, Illinois. 247Sports ranks Clark as the No. 29 point guard in the class and No. 2 player in Illinois.

Tennessee offered him a scholarship on Oct. 10. He officially visited Tennessee on Oct. 11.
Northern Illinois was the first school to offer Clark a scholarship on June 16, 2023. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Illinois, Western Michigan, Toledo, Southern Illinois, Ball State, DePaul, Purdue Fort Wayne, Iona and Valparaiso.
Clark officially visited Western Michigan, Purdue Fort Wayne, Southern Illinois, Ball State and Iona before announcing his commitment to Tennessee.
Tennessee has two other commitments in its 2026 basketball recruiting class: small forward Ralph Scott and power forward Manny Green. The Vols have six commitments in their 2025 basketball recruiting class: forward DeWayne Brown, small forward Amari Evans, point guard Troy Henderson, forward Nate Ament, shooting guard Clarence Massamba and shooting guard Ethan Burg.
