Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian quarterback Ben Musser is headed to the ACC. The 2027 signal caller committed to Virginia Tech, choosing the Hokies over Cincinnati and Purdue, who rounded out his top three.
Musser held 16 offers, and it was Virginia Tech’s offer on June 22 that changed everything.

“They’ve been amazing in the recruiting process,” Musser told Rivals. “They’ve really made a genuine connection. It’s felt real from the beginning.”
“The staff is incredible. They have a winning football tradition, and the stadium—you can’t beat it. It just felt like home.”
He’s built strong relationships with coach Phillip Montgomery and Brian Crist, and others on staff.
“Coaches Montgomery and Christ are the ones I have the best relationship with. They check in daily and really make me feel like a priority. They’re great people and they know football.”
The No. 278 prospect in the Rivals Industry Ranking also praised head coach Brent Pry.

“Coach Pry is a great coach. He’s serious, determined, and a great leader.”
It all clicked on the last visit to Blacksburg for one of the best in the Peach State.
“I’ve visited twice, with the last one more thorough visit,” Musser said. “I knew Virginia Tech was the school about two weeks ago after sitting down with my family and talking more about it.
“I can’t wait to go to the Vanderbilt game. The vibe there is electric—it just feels right.”
