The Oregon Ducks hit a home run with the commitment of 2025 five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore, as the true freshman leads the team in catches (25), receiving yards (398) and is tied for third in reception touchdowns (three) through seven games. He’s been quarterback Dante Moore‘s go-to target in the biggest moments, as evidenced by his seven catches for 89 yards in the Ducks‘ 30-24 double overtime victory over then-No. 3 Penn State.
Head coach Dan Lanning and his staff are trying to go back to well with another five-star receiver, this time with class of 2027 standout Monshun Sales. Standing 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, the Indianapolis, IN, native is the No. 1 receiver in his class and the No. 5 player overall.

Sales released a list of his final 12 schools on Thursday, with Oregon squarely among them.
Three other Big Ten members appeared on his list, as Ohio State, Indiana and Michigan also made the cut. Six SEC squads and one ACC team was included, with Notre Dame rounding out the group.
Sales would be a tremendous get for Lanning and the Ducks, as the tall, lanky receiver could learn and play besides Moore during his true freshman season, as the current Oregon wideout will be in his junior campaign.
Speaking on what pushed the Ducks’ program into his final 12 list, Sales said, “All of the coaches make you feel at home and are great coaches.”

Though he has yet to make a trip to Eugene this fall, there’s still a long ways to go in his recruitment. If he were to pledge his commitment to Oregon, he’d join four-star edge Cameron Pritchett as the only current Duck commits in the 2027 class.
