Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star wide receiver Miguel Whitley named Tennessee in his top five schools, along with Ohio State, LSU, Ole Miss and Houston, according to Rivals.

The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect is from St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Former Tennessee linebacker Raynoch Thompson is also from St. Augustine.
247Sports ranks Whitley as the No. 25 wide receiver in the class and the No. 9 player in Louisiana.
Tennessee offered Whitley a scholarship on Feb. 21, 2025. He has attended a camp at Florida State during his recruitment and has not made any visits to schools.
Toledo was the first school to offer Whitley a scholarship on Jan. 20, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Grambling State, Florida State, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Baylor, Miami, South Florida, Texas State, Troy, Arkansas State, Auburn, Nebraska, Texas and Arkansas.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
