Five-star, in-state Iowa women’s basketball recruit Jenica Lewis plans to make her college commitment announcement on Thursday at 6 p.m. CT.
Lewis is choosing among Iowa, Notre Dame, Oregon and TCU. At least one source expects the decision to be colored Irish Green.

HawkeyeInsider‘s David Eickholt logged a 247Sports crystal ball prediction on Wednesday with an 8 confidence level predicting Lewis to commit to Notre Dame.
That would be a significant blow to Iowa’s hopes in its 2026 recruiting class. Lewis has been a highly sought in-state prospect on the Hawkeyes’ radar for a long time.
But, it seems the pendulum is swinging away from Iowa in this high-profile recruitment.
A standout at Johnston High School in Iowa, the 5-foot-10 guard is the nation’s No. 22 overall recruit, the No. 4 shooting guard and the No. 1 prospect in the state on the 247Sports’ composite.
