Ethan Taylor is among the most recent players to receive an offer from Kentucky. Now, he’s got a visit set.
The 7-foot, 230-pound center from Link Academy (Shawnee, KS) will take an official visit to Kentucky from Oct. 10-12, sources tell KSR+. Taylor, who cut his list to six on Saturday, will also visit Oregon (Sept. 5-7), Oklahoma (Sept. 12-14), Indiana (Sept. 19-21), Kansas (Sept. 26-28), and Michigan State (Oct. 3-5), per Joe Tipton of Rivals.
“To hear that I was receiving an offer from Kentucky was very shocking. I just didn’t realize I had come that far,” Taylor told KSR+ in late July.
Taylor’s visit will be for Big Blue Madness. He’ll be joined by five-star guard Jordan Smith Jr. and four-star center Josh Irving, who are also set to visit at that time.
Ethan Taylor’s Game
Link (Missouri) Academy four-star center Ethan Taylor is the nation’s No. 24 overall prospect according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services. Rivals ranks Taylor as the No. 2 center and the No. 19 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
‘I’d say my greatest strength as a player is being able to adapt,” Taylor said. “I can adapt to a lot of situations and a lot of different games. Say one game I’m not getting a lot of touches or being featured in the offense, I’ll still go crash the glass, seal my guy under the rim for my teammates to get the open layup, and I’ll go set screens to get people open. I’ll defend my butt off.”
