4-star OL Jimmy Kalis names his top six schools

by

Four-star offensive tackle Jimmy Kalis has officially listed his top six schools, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. The Georgia Bulldogs are among Kalis’ top schools.

A Pittsburgh native, Kalis is a talented lineman that has drawn serious interest from numerous programs across the country. At 6-foot-6, 280 pounds, Kalis is an extremely athletic lineman that could quickly prove to be an excellent fit on the Bulldog’s offensive line in 2027. The four-star plays high school football for Central Catholic in Pittsburgh.

Kalis currently has LSU, Ohio State, Texas, Clemson, Miami and Georgia listed as his top-six programs, as the big man could quickly emerge as a legitimate difference maker for any program lucky enough to land him.

Jimmy Kalis, Central Catholic offensive lineman, soaks up the atmosphere of the game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns at Ohio Stadium on Aug. 30, 2025.

Kalis was ranked as the No. 24 offensive tackle and the No. 247 overall player from the 2027 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Georgia is currently in the mix for a multitude of offensive linemen from the class of 2027, as the Bulldogs are reportedly projected to land a commitment from top in-state tackle recruit Joshua Sam-Epelle. Both Kalis and Sam-Epelle could become critical components on the Georgia offensive line should they sign with the Bulldogs, as each player will more than likely reveal their final decisions in the near future.

The Bulldogs continue to add various playmakers from the 2027 class on both sides of the football, as Kalis would prove to be an excellent addition to the offensive line in the future. Georgia currently has five commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle and recently suffered a decommitment from three-star wide receiver Gavin Honore.
