The Michigan Wolverines head to Lincoln this weekend for their second road game of the season. The Cornhuskers are 3-0 and looking to find success in Matt Rhule’s third year as head coach, while Michigan will rely on Biff Poggi once more with Sherrone Moore suspended still.
Bryce Underwood and Michigan’s offense looked more than competent last week vs Central Michigan, so there were more than a handful of exciting plays from the game. Here are five to get you ready for the game tomorrow. My apologies in advance to the defense; this one only includes plays from the offense.

Bryce Underwood connects with Semaj Morgan for a TD
Semaj Morgan didn’t have a big impact as a sophomore despite ending his freshman campaign on a relatively positive note, so seeing him catch this touchdown from Underwood was a treat. Michigan’s offense didn’t have these kinds of plays in 2024, so it’s nice to have them in 2025.
Andrew Marsh gets into the endzone
Underwood is getting a lot of attention, as he should, but freshman Andrew Marsh reminded us on this play that he’s got some speed and skills of his own. He breaks an ankle tackle and gets into the end zone after following some of his blockers. Expect more from him as the season progresses.
Jordan Marshall scores his first touchdown
Jordan Marshall had a great performance in the ReliaQuest Bowl, but he hasn’t had much of an impact this season until this past week. Against Central Michigan, Marshall had 10 carries for 52 yards and two touchdowns. While Justice Haynes has had most of the attention this season, Marshall’s trip to the end zone reminds us the running back room is pretty loaded.
Underwood’s second rushing TD of the game
There’s no denying the impact Underwood has in a game. Utilizing his ability to run the ball is a game-changer. It’s not just that he is able to run it, though. He improvised when he didn’t like his downfield options and used his athleticism to get into the end zone. It’s nice to see a quarterback who doesn’t just run because he can’t make his reads.
Jasper Parker’s TD run in the 4th quarter
The young offensive guys are getting all the love today. It’s not the best goal-line touchdown in the world, but look at the guys on the field — Michigan had young talent on the offensive line on this play, along with redshirt freshman quarterback Jadyn Davis, who handed it off to true freshman running back Jasper Parker for the score.
