6 Golf Bags I’d Buy If I Were Looking For A Deal

by

There’s nothing like starting the year with a clean, fresh golf bag. No broken zippers. No mystery junk living at the bottom pocket.

If you started cleaning out your old bag and realized it’s a lost cause, that’s your sign to skip the deep clean and move straight to new bag shopping.

Here are six golf bags that I’d buy if I were looking for a deal.

TaylorMade FlexTech Carry 2024

  • Original price: $259.99
  • Current price: $149.99
  • Price drop: $110 (42%)

The FlexTech golf bags have done well in prior MGS testing for stability and ease of use. The base design makes club removal smoother and the leg-lock system keeps things tidy when you’re walking.

At this price, it’s hard to find a better true carry bag.

Titleist Players 4 Carbon Stand Bag (2022)

  • Original price: $269.00
  • Current price: $199.00
  • Price drop: $70 (26%)

This is the 2022 version of the Players 4 Carbon, one of the better Titleist stand bags we tested last year.

It’s still extremely light, still uses carbon fiber legs, and still is ideal for golfers who walk. The changes in the newer model may be worth it if you’re looking for a deal.

Callaway Fairway + 2025 Stand Bag

  • Original price: $279.99
  • Current price: $219.99
  • Price drop: $60 (21%)

The Fairway + has always been one of Callaway’s most versatile stand bags.

At five pounds, it works well for walking and still sits securely on push or riding carts. It’s a current-model bag with a meaningful price cut, which isn’t always easy to find.

Datrek Go Lite Hybrid Stand Bag

  • Original price: $199.95
  • Current price: $149.95
  • Price drop: $50 (25%)

If you want a larger stand or hybrid-style bag without paying hybrid prices, this one works.

You get a 14-way top with full-length dividers and enough structure to work well on a cart. It’s heavier than a minimalist carry bag but the organization trade-off makes sense for a lot of golfers.

Sun Mountain 2024 C-130 Cart Bag

  • Original price: $299.99
  • Current price: $249.99
  • Price drop: $50 (15%)

If you primarily ride or use a push cart, the C-130 remains one of the safest buys in golf.

The 14-way top works, the storage layout is excellent and the Smart Strap system keeps pockets accessible when the bag is strapped in. It’s not light but it’s built for golfers who want organization without frustration.

RevCore Lux LT Lightweight Stand Bag

  • Original price: $249.00
  • Current price: $219.00
  • Price drop: $30 (12%)

I’ve used this bag and it held up well over the season. The synthetic leather is durable, the five-way top keeps things simple and the straps are comfortable for walking. It’s not a huge price drop but this bag is priced well to begin with.

I love the white version but the grey or black is the smarter long-term choice if you want it to stay looking fresh.
