As The Hundred Women’s 2025 edition approaches its final stage, the spotlight has shifted from the on-field battles to the standout performers who shaped the tournament. Just like the men’s competition, experts Nasser Hussain, Michael Atherton, Dinesh Karthik, and Ebony-Jewel Rainford-Brent have revealed their Team of the Tournament, rewarding players who left a lasting impact with their bat, ball, or all-round brilliance.
Michael Atherton and Nasser Hussain back Nat Sciver-Brunt to lead
Atherton and Hussain’s Team of the Tournament leaned heavily on experience, with England star Nat Sciver-Brunt chosen as captain. Their XI opened with the in-form Meg Lanning and Birmingham Phoenix’s Kira Chathli, both of whom provided explosive starts. Sophie Dunkley and Phoebe Litchfield anchored the middle order, while Sciver-Brunt and Annabel Sutherland offered all-round strength.
For bowling options, Atherton and Hussain went with Em Arlott and Kate Cross as their pace attack, supported by Lauren Bell – the tournament’s leading wicket-taker. Tilly Corteen-Coleman added variety with her spin, while Rhianna Southby earned a spot for her wicketkeeping contributions.

Once again, Sciver-Brunt was chosen as captain for her consistent contributions with both bat and ball. Litchfield retained her spot in their lineup, while Sophie Ecclestone featured as the specialist spinner. Bell and Arlott led the pace attack, with Cross providing experience.
