Darren Till knocks out Luke Rockhold at Misfits Boxing 22

by

Michael Bisping sees Darren Till finishing Luke Rockhold early in their boxing match.

Ex-UFC fighters Till and Rockhold will lace up the gloves in Saturday’s Misfits Boxing 22 main event at AO Arena in Manchester, England. Originally scheduled for six rounds, the pair agreed to now square off in an eight-round bout.

Bisping, who knocked out Rockhold to claim the UFC middleweight title in 2016, thinks his former foe doesn’t last too long in the ring with Till. He dubbed Till as the better boxer than Rockhold.

“I think Darren Till goes out there and probably gets the knockout,” Bisping said on his YouTube channel. “Might even be in the first round. But I tell you what: May the best man win. I wish Luke Rockhold nothing but the best. I’ve got nothing against this man. I actually think he’s a solid human being. I got to hang out with him a bit down at the gym last time with (Marlon) ‘Chito’ Vera and Jason Parillo after the training session. He’s a good dude.

“We were just competing at the same time and we both wanted to be victorious, and yeah, I was talking a bit of sh*t back in the day. He was talking a bit of sh*t. That’s what we do. We’re trying to sell fights, but when that’s all out the window, the man’s a good human being and he’s just trying to live his life the best way he can by using these things to make a living, and so is Darren Till. … My official prediction, Luke Rockhold gets knocked out by Darren Till probably Rounds 2 or 3.”

Both Rockhold and Till are oozing confidence, with Rockhold saying Till doesn’t belong in a ring or a cage with him, and the Brit vowing a demolition job.
