Skylar Diggins really does not like the Minnesota Lynx originally appeared on The Sporting News
Skylar Diggins delivered when the Seattle Storm needed her most.
Diggins, Seattle’s All-Star point guard, dropped 23 points on the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday night — engineering a comeback from 21 points down to hand the Storm a stunning 93-79 win over the WNBA’s top team.

But a 35-point turnaround at Target Center wasn’t the only headline Diggins provided on Thursday. After she drained a 3-pointer and directed a profanity-laced tirade toward the Lynx bench at the end of the third quarter, Diggins waited until the final buzzer sounded to demonstrate her true disdain for Minnesota.

After home wins, the Lynx players like to hit the electric slide for their fans. After denying them the chance to do so on Thursday, Diggins and fellow guard Erica Wheeler did the dance themselves — twice.
Diggins and Wheeler first did the electric slide on the Target Center hardwood before bringing it back for the Storm’s official X account, which filmed them as they walked down the tunnel back to the locker room.
Through some brutal trolling, Diggins, a seven-time All-Star known for her competitive fire, is trying to set the tone for the Storm as Seattle tries to distance itself in the playoff race.

After the win in Minnesota, the Storm (21-19) has pulled into a virtual tie with the Indiana Fever (20-18) for the #6 seed in the playoffs. The Storm return to Seattle on Saturday to take on the Chicago Sky in another important game.
