Friday Night SmackDown is going down in France today and tons of fans are excited for the show. Interestingly enough, the kid whom John Cena brutally roasted earlier this year is in attendance for the show.
As revealed by a photo making rounds on social media, the young WWE fan from Brussels that John Cena took shots at in his first heel promo is also attending this week’s SmackDown in France.
On the March 17 episode of WWE RAW, John Cena cut a scathing promo after his surprising heel turn at Elimination Chamber. He called the fans “toxic” and “dysfunctional,” and even pointed to the young boy in the crowd wearing all Cena gear as an example of the fanbase he was upset with.
WWE’s cameras caught the kid’s shocked and heartbroken reaction, leaving the audience stunned. Cena followed it up the next week by referring to the young fan as the “clueless kid” he “put on blast.” For what it’s worth, the young fan took it like a champ and was actually honored to be singled out by John Cena.
The reappearance of the young fan at SmackDown in France has given WWE an opportunity to make things right. So it remains to be seen whether John Cena will acknowledge and apologize to the young fan on SmackDown.
