The 6-foot-2, 175-pound prospect is from Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 1 point guard in the class and No. 1 player in New Jersey.

Tennessee offered Rippey Jr. a scholarship on May 22. He will visit Tennessee for the Vols’ exhibition game against Duke on Oct. 26 at Food City Center.

Other SEC schools to offer Rippey Jr. a scholarship include Texas A&M, LSU, Georgia and Auburn.

Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2026 basketball recruiting class. The Vols have six commitments in their 2025 basketball recruiting class: forward DeWayne Brown, small forward Amari Evans, point guard Troy Henderson, forward Nate Ament, shooting guard Clarence Massamba and shooting guard Ethan Burg.
