Axel Sola turned in an impressive performance in his UFC debut, which resulted in a stoppage in the final round.
On the main card of UFC Fight Night 258 at Accor Arena in Paris, France, Sola (11-0-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) found a way to finish Rhys McKee to pick up a finish in his first UFC appearance.
The fight was a competitive one through the first two rounds, although Sola’s striking was a bit sharper and his defense tighter. In the final round, Sola ripped McKee (14-7-1 MMA, 1-5 UFC) to the body with a vicious punch, folding him over to the canvas. Sola followed up with ground and pound, and referee Herb Dean was quick to jump in to stop the fight.

With the result, Sola remains undefeated as he stepped up to welterweight to take this bout. The former Ares FC champion has finished three of his last four bouts.
