Grayson Waller isn’t backing down from being WWE’s most unapologetic heel—and now he’s proudly taking credit for breaking a fan’s phone during a live RAW broadcast.
During an appearance on the No Contest Wrestling podcast, Waller confirmed that the incident during the September 1st edition of RAW was 100% legit—and not part of any planned segment for WWE Unreal, despite what some fans assumed on social media.
“I did that 100% on purpose. My favorite thing is—no, legally, I didn’t want to make you say it—but you know, they put it on Instagram and I was reading through the comments, and all the comments were like, ‘I’ve watched WWE Unreal. It is a plant. It is not a real fan. Works for WWE.’ And I’m dying, because I know that’s a real fan.”
According to Waller, the chaos started when Xavier Woods grabbed the fan’s phone. Waller didn’t hesitate—he stomped on it, right there in the moment.
“That guy put his phone in harm’s way. Woods took it, and I stepped on it. We didn’t organize that. That’s not going to end up on WWE Unreal. That guy’s going home with a great story and a broken phone.”
And just in case fans thought it was a one-time thing, Waller issued a warning to everyone attending future WWE shows.
“If you’re at a WWE show, be careful—because it might happen again.”
Love him or hate him, Grayson Waller knows how to keep his name trending—and stomping on a fan’s phone live on RAW is just the latest way he’s staying relevant by being as reckless as ever.
