WWE’s biggest spectacle of the year is officially heading overseas — whether they meant to announce it yet or not.
Earlier today, a press release in Arabic confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia in 2027. The release was quietly yanked shortly after it was distributed, reportedly sent out ahead of schedule. But the leak was enough to set off alarms across the wrestling world.
While WWE has yet to formally issue a statement, PWInsider.com has confirmed the story is 100% legit — WrestleMania is going international for the first time in history.
“An announcement is coming very soon,” the outlet reported, confirming that Saudi Arabia has locked in WrestleMania 43, marking the first time the event will be held outside North America.
Adding to the credibility, Turki Al Al-Sheikh also mentioned WrestleMania 43 earlier today. This adds significant weight to the news and signals just how invested Saudi leadership is in bringing WWE’s biggest event to the region.
Saudi Arabia is also set to host the 2026 Royal Rumble, further cementing its status as WWE’s premier international partner. This follows TKO President Mark Shapiro’s recent remarks at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference, where he outlined the company’s Formula 1-style global strategy and made it crystal clear what drives location choices:
“We’re going to maximize those opportunities both in kind. But most important to me is cash. You know, cash. Cash kills.”
Shapiro hinted that cities like London, Paris, and Saudi Arabia were actively negotiating for future WWE and UFC events. Now, it looks like the Saudis have secured both of WWE’s biggest shows within a 14-month window.
While the official English-language press release is still pending, the message is loud and clear — WrestleMania is going global.
Ringside News will continue to monitor this developing story and bring you updates the moment they’re available.
