UFC 322 adds Angela Hill vs. Fatima Kline to Madison Square Garden event

by

Fatima Kline is taking a step up in terms of stage and experience of opposition.

At UFC 322, Kline (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) joins her teammate Erin Blanchfield on the Nov. 15 card at Madison Square Garden in New York as she battles the woman with the most UFC fights ever, Angela Hill.

Two people with knowledge of the matchup recently informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Kline, 25, aims to make it three wins – and three finishes – in a row. After a short-notice loss up a weight class to Jasmine Jasudavicius, Kline finished Victoria Dudakova and Melissa Martinez consecutively by TKO.

Hill (18-15 MMA, 13-15 UFC) holds the record for most UFC bouts competed in by a woman, at 27. Despite her longevity in the sport, Hill remains competitive in each outing entering this fight at 3-2 in her most recent five at age 40.

The updated UFC 322 lineup includes:

  • Champion Jack Della Maddalena vs. Islam Makhachev – for welterweight title
  • Champion Valentina Shevchenko vs. Zhang Weili – for women's flyweight title
  • Erin Blanchfield vs. Tracy Cortez
  • Eric McConico vs. Baisangur Susurkaev
