Andrade is officially gone from WWE, and now the full picture is coming into focus. His exit wasnโt due to a contract expiring or part of a larger round of roster cuts โ it was the result of ongoing creative issues and a growing disconnect behind the scenes.
According to PWInsider, WWE made the decision to release Andrade after weeks of internal discussions. He had been frustrated with his creative direction ever since returning at the 2024 Royal Rumble, and those frustrations gradually escalated into something the company could no longer manage.
In the weeks leading up to his release, Andrade was reportedly unreachable. This added even more uncertainty around his role and contributed to WWEโs decision to cut ties. Despite still having more than 18 months left on his contract, the company opted to move forward without him.
The decision also forced immediate changes to creative plans. Andrade had been scheduled to team with Fenix in a tag match against the Wyatt Sicks at Clash in Paris, but that match was quietly scrapped once his departure was finalized.
Now that Andrade is officially out of WWE, speculation is swirling over his next move. Whether he returns to AEW, heads back to CMLL, or takes time off from the ring, fans will be paying close attention.
