Illinois announced Wednesday that the allotment of 3,000 student tickets for State Farm Center sold out in a record-breaking 18 minutes. EIGHTEEN. MINUTES.

The previous record of 26 minutes was set just this past season.
The Illini have reached the NCAA Tournament each of the last five seasons. It’s probably not a coincidence that Orange Krush tickets have also sold out for the fifth year in a row dating back to the 2021-22 campaign.
When the Illini are good and State Farm Center is packed it’s one of the most electric atmospheres in college hoops. Illinois is the winningest team in Big Ten play over the past six years, and the Orange & Blue will once again be vying for a Big Ten title this season.
