Fever record without Caitlin Clark
During the 2025 season, the Fever posted an 18-16 record without Caitlin Clark, compared to 8-5 when she was on the court. Since Clark’s latest injury in mid-July, Indiana closed the regular season 12-10 before knocking off the Dream in the opening round of the playoffs.

That stretch leaves the Fever at 16-15 in the regular season without Clark, and 2-1 in the postseason as they now prepare for the semifinals.

What is Caitlin Clark’s injury?
Caitlin Clark has a right groin injury that has forced her to miss Indiana’s last 25 games. The injury occurred late in the Fever’s game on July 15 against the Connecticut Sun and is Clark’s second groin injury of the season.
Indiana never officially revealed the diagnosis for Clark’s injury as the point guard rehabbed throughout the year. The injury was also Clark’s third this year, as she’s dealt with two groin injuries and one quadriceps injury in her second professional season.

Will Caitlin Clark play again this year?
On September 4, Clark announced on social media that she would not be able to return to the court this season.
“I spent hours in the gym every day with the singular goal of getting back out there, disappointed isn’t a big enough word to describe how I am feeling,” she wrote. “I want to thank everyone who had my back through all the uncertainty.”
Clark missed 31 games in the regular season along with the first three games of the playoffs thus far, a number that will increase as the Fever advance further in the WNBA playoffs.
