UFC reveals hulking heavyweight headliner for Las Vegas

by

Hulking heavyweights headline UFC Fight Night 263.

Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Ante Delija are set for five rounds Nov. 1 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, the promotion announced Friday. The matchup first was reported by MMA Latinoamerica.

Cortes-Acosta (14-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC) remains one of the UFC’s most active heavyweights with this fight being his fourth of the calendar year. He started off 2025 with back-to-back wins over Ryan Spann and Serghei Spivac before he lost to Sergei Pavlovich in August. The defeat snapped a five-fight winning streak.

Delija (26-6 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has been a professional fighter since 2011. A former training partner of Mirko Cro Cop, Delija competed all over the world for top-tier promotions ranging from PFL to KSW to RIZIN. But UFC was not checked off his list until he debuted Sept. 6 – and knocked out Marcin Tybura in 2:03. The win drew emotions from UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, who has entrusted Delija as one of his main training partners in recent years.

With the addition, the UFC Fight Night 263 lineup includes:

  • Waldo Cortes-Acosta vs. Ante Delija
  • Norma Dumont vs. Ketlen Vieira
  • Yadier del Valle vs. Isaac Dulgarian
  • Timmy Cuamba vs. ChangHo Lee
  • Kevin Christian vs. Billy Elekana
  • Rafael Estevam vs. Allan Nascimento
  • Nick Klein vs. Donte Johnson
