Marty Jannetty’s reputation speaks for itself since he’s always done tons of wild things throughout his life. That’s why it comes as no surprise that Jannetty has claimed he turned down a 3-movie adult film deal.
While speaking on the Krazy Train Podcast with Jasmin St. Clair, Marty Jannetty opened up about his wild past and how he almost stepped into adult films. He recalled his time living in Houston, where he and his girlfriend were into the swinging lifestyle.
They hosted parties where they covered the floor with mattresses and mats, letting everyone do as they pleased. In their large open room, they set up two TVs, one big screen on the bottom and a smaller one on top, so two different adult films could play at once. If one movie got boring, people could just watch the other.
During that time, Jannetty saw a woman in one of those films and told his girlfriend he wished they could meet her, who turned out to be Jasmin St. Clair. They often went to strip clubs and sometimes brought someone home, so he thought it might happen.
“You know, you were talking earlier about the swinging lifestyle. Well, that was when I lived in Houston. My girlfriend there and I were sort of into that. We’d have people over for parties, lay mattresses and mats all over the floor, and everybody would just do everything. We even had two TVs in the big open room—a big screen on the bottom and a smaller one on top—so we could run two different pornos at once. If one got boring, you just looked up at the other.
One time I saw this girl in a film and said, ‘Oh my god, that girl there,’ and told my girlfriend, ‘Man, I wish we could run into her somewhere.’ We used to go out to strip clubs and sometimes bring someone home with us, so I thought maybe it could happen. Later I found out it was you.”
Soon after that he was approached by XPW Wrestling, a company run by a pornographer, with an offer to star in a three-movie wrestling-themed adult series. The money was tempting, especially since he was out of wrestling and looking for income.
Jannetty discussed it with his brother, who warned that such a decision could haunt him forever, especially if he had children. That’s exactly why Jannetty decided to turn down the offer.
“Not long after that, I was approached by someone from the adult industry—I couldn’t even remember the name at first, but it was XPW Wrestling. The company was owned by a pornographer, and they offered me a three-movie deal to do a wrestling-themed series.
I seriously considered it. I even mentioned it to my brother. They offered me good money, and I was out of wrestling at the time thinking I needed to make some. But my brother said, ‘Absolutely not. If you ever have kids, that will always be out there.’ And I thought, yeah, you might be right. So I decided not to do it.”
Marty Jannetty’s story is another wild part of his ridiculous life. From crazy house parties and unexpected encounters to saying no to an adult film deal, the former WWE Tag Team Champion shows that his real-life adventures can be just as exciting as anything he did in the ring. Ultimately, many fans feel Marty did the right thing by turning down the deal.
