Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis got their first look at each other Monday, and the first look of Paul and Davis getting their first look at each other looked as ridiculous as expected.
Paul and Davis are set to meet in an exhibition bout that headlines a Netflix-streamed boxing event Nov. 14 at Kaseya Center in Miami. Paul vs. Davis originally was scheduled to take place in Atlanta, but the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission refused to sanction the bout over concerns about the their size difference. Paul, who is listed at 6-foot-1, weighed in at 199.5 pounds for his most recent fight, with Davis, who’s 5-5, weighing 133.75 for his previous fight.
That massive size difference was on display Monday as Paul and Davis faced off following their first press conference in New York. Seeing Paul tower over Davis – and Paul putting his hands on his knees to be at eye level with Davis – was a stunning visual, to say the least. You can watch the faceoff in the video below (via X):
Afterward, Paul took to X to call Nov. 14 “bring your kid to work day.”
Paul and Davis will hold a press conference Tuesday in Miami, and MMA Junkie will be on hand to provide coverage.
