Alexander Bublik is the champion of the ATP 250 event in Hangzhou. The Kazakh prevailed over Valentin Royer 7-6, 7-6 in an hour and 51 minutes and became the second player of the season with four ATP titles.
Nothing separated the two rivals. Alexander collected four points more than his rival and took the pivotal points in the tie break. They both created two break points at the beginning of the second set and wasted them.
The 3rd seed attacked and landed 40 winners and 39 unforced errors. He built the advantage in service winners and played efficient tennis at the net while trailing a bit from the baseline.

They needed only seven minutes to wrap up the opening three games. Bublik survived deuces on serve in games four and six, closing them and remaining on the positive side.
They served well in the remaining games and introduced a tie break after the Kazakh's hold at love at 5-6. After two early mini-breaks, we saw five points on serve, with Alexander painting a backhand winner for a 4-3 lead.
Valentin sprayed a forehand error in the eighth point and mirrored that in the next point to fall 6-3 behind. Bublik landed an ace on the second set point, wrapping up the first part of the duel in 51 minutes.
The 3rd seed faced two break points in the first game of the second set and denied them with winners. He drew the Frenchman's mistake in the next one with a fine attack for two break chances.

Royer saved them with winners and held them to remain on the positive side. The returners created no more chances in the remaining ten games, with the servers taking charge and introducing another tie break.
The lower-ranked player landed a forehand winner in the sixth point and leveled the score at 3-3. However, Alexander grabbed a mini-break in the eighth point and moved in front.
Bublik sprayed a double fault in the ninth point, bringing his rival back to the positive side. The Kazakh passed his rival at the net in the tenth point and generated two match points.
The 3rd seed seized the first with a forehand down the line winner, falling to the ground and celebrating his fourth ATP title of the season.
