Vanderbilt football now knows its opponents for the next four seasons.
In a TV special on SEC Network, the conference revealed each team’s opponents for the next four seasons. The SEC will go to a nine-game conference schedule in 2026, and each team will have three “permanent” opponents it faces each year while playing the other 12 teams once every other year. The permanent opponents are subject to change once every four years. According to the SEC, the annual opponents were determined based on competitive balance, traditional rivalries and geography.

The SEC each also requires each team to play one Power Four opponent out of conference each season. Over the next four years, Vanderbilt has games scheduled with NC State, Stanford and Purdue.
Listed non-conference games include publicly announced games only. Vanderbilt has not announced a full non-conference slate for any year after 2026.
