Philadelphia Eagles outside linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. strained his triceps Sunday and now is expected to be sidelined through the team’s Nov. 2 bye, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

Smith could return for the Monday night game at the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 10.

Smith had triceps surgery a week after the Super Bowl and aggravated the injury last week.

The Eagles placed Smith on injured reserve Wednesday, sidelining him for at least the next four games. The team also placed cornerback Jakorian Bennett and wide receiver Darius Cooper on IR.

Philadelphia signed safety Marcus Epps, tight end Cameron Latu and cornerback Parry Nickerson to the active roster in corresponding moves.

Linebacker Lance Dixon, defensive back Eli Ricks and wide receiver Quez Watkins were signed to the practice squad.

The Eagles (3-0) visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0) this Sunday in a matchup of undefeated teams.
