WWE Evolve Announces “Succession” Special

by

WWE just dropped a major update in the middle of its Wednesday night battle with AEW.

Stevie Turner appeared in a new video shared by WWE on social media, officially announcing WWE Evolve: Succession—a special edition of Evolve airing Wednesday, October 15, 2025, on Tubi TV.

The upcoming event will feature both the Men’s and Women’s Evolution Championships being defended on the same night. Turner stated that the challengers for both title matches will be determined over the next two weeks, adding even more intrigue to the buildup.

This announcement follows Turner’s earlier social media tease promising a historic moment for the brand. Now it’s official—Evolve is stepping up with a stacked show that puts both titles in play.

The timing of this reveal is no accident. AEW has also been promoting an important announcement from Tony Khan set to air during tonight’s Dynamite episode. Just days ago, AEW ran All Out: Toronto the same night WWE aired its first WrestlePalooza special on ESPN, reigniting the competitive energy between the two promotions.

Now WWE is loading up its Evolve brand in response, promising a double-title showdown in less than a month. The coming weeks will be critical as both brands jockey for attention with high-stakes programming.
