Gable Steveson to test his hands in Dirty Boxing headliner

by

Gable Steveson is staying busy in the combat sports world following his MMA debut.

The Olympic gold medalist wrestler will put his hands to the test in the heavyweight main event of Dirty Boxing Championship 4, which takes place Oct. 30 at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tenn. Steveson will face Billy Swanson, who will also be making his debut in the promotion.

Steveson, 25, recently made his debut in the cage at LFA 217 earlier this month. The decorated wrestler made quick work of Braden Peterson with vicious ground and pound after securing an easy early takedown to win the fight by TKO in just 98 seconds. He will now continue his fighting journey in DBX, a promotion co-owned by his coach and training partner, Jon Jones.

Swanson, 31, has a professional MMA record of 4-3 which includes an appearance under the Bellator and PFL Challenger Series. His last combat sports outing was a bareknuckle boxing fight under the BKFC banner in August, where he lost to Bear Hill.
