One day after MJF’s emotional promo aired on AEW Dynamite, his wife Alicia Atout let fans know exactly how she feels about his extended absence—and she did it with a sharp tweet and a fluffy sidekick.
AEW fans saw MJF pour his heart out in a pre-taped segment, filmed after his crushing loss to Mark Briscoe at All Out. In it, he made it clear he wasn’t coming back to AEW until he could “look in the mirror” and no longer see a fraud. While his promo was filled with pain and self-reflection, Alicia’s post added a very different tone: exhaustion.
In a tweet shared the next morning, Alicia posted a mirror selfie holding their cat, Piper, and wrote:
“Max is back on set. I’m back home with Piper. Guess it’s another girls night… or month… This better be the best honeymoon EVER. YOU OWE ME, @The_MJF 🙄”
The playful jab at her husband comes after she previously joked that their honeymoon was “delayed because he might be dead” following the brutal Briscoe match. But now that MJF is busy filming Violent Night 2 and laying low from AEW TV, Alicia’s tweet paints a relatable picture of life at home—waiting.
MJF may be rebuilding himself mentally and physically, but back at home, it looks like Alicia is keeping things grounded (and sarcastic) with Piper in tow.
