Charles Oliveira vs. Mateusz Gamrot: UFC Rio betting odds

by

Originally scheduled to face Rafael Fiziev in the UFC Fight Night 261 headliner, Charles Oliveira will now fight replacement opponent Mateusz Gamrot in an important lightweight bout after Fiziev suffered an injury.

Charles Oliveira vs. Mateusz Gamrot preview

Oliveira (35-11 MMA, 23-11 UFC) aims to bounce back from a vacant title loss against Ilia Topuria at UFC 317 in June. The former champion lost his title on the scale at UFC 274, but then went on to defeat Justin Gaethje at the event. Since then, he’s traded wins and losses as he’s struggled to maintain momentum among the elite of the lightweight division. Oliveira is currently the No. 4 lightweight in the latest USA TODAY Sports/ MMA Junkie lightweight rankings.

Gamrot (25-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) steps in on short notice to replace an injured Rafael Fiziev. In his first appearance of 2025, “Gamer” won a unanimous decision over Ludovit Klein to bounce back from a Fight of the Night split decision loss against Dan Hooker last August. Gamrot currently sits at No. 11 in the latest MMA Junkie lightweight rankings.

Charles Oliveira vs. Mateusz Gamrot odds

According to DraftKings, former UFC lightweight champion Oliveira is a very slight -120 favorite to win the short-notice matchup against Gamrot, who is a +100 underdog.
