STILLWATER — For the first time in 309 consecutive Oklahoma State football games, Mike Gundy will not be on the sideline.

Dismissed three games into his 21st season as head coach, which followed four as offensive coordinator, Gundy will be watching from afar as the Cowboys (1-2) take on Baylor (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.

Former Cowboy offensive lineman Doug Meacham, who was hired as offensive coordinator last winter, will handle his first game as OSU’s interim head coach.

Oklahoma State vs Baylor predictions, picks, odds

Odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Saturday morning:

  • Moneyline: Baylor -1600, OSU +900

Baylor 44, OSU 16: The Bears have established weapons on offense, which should help them take advantage of an OSU defense that has been inconsistent against the run game, and susceptible to big plays in the passing game. The OSU offense showed growth last week, but still has deficiencies, particularly on the offensive line.  — Scott Wright, Staff writer
