Notre Dame football did everything it wanted on offense and blew out Arkansas

by

It was a very impressive afternoon for Notre Dame football, as the offense led the team to a road win over the Arkansas Razorbacks 56-13.

It was a huge performance for two Irish stars, quarterback CJ Carr and running back Jeremiyah Love. They each accounted for 4 touchdowns, in a massive one-two punch for the Irish offense. Arkansas took an early 3-0 lead, but that ignited Notre Dame as they’d go on an offensive tear, scoring on all six of their drives in the first half.

They’d enter halftime with a 41-13 lead, as the game was virtually over. Notre Dame wouldn’t have the same success in the second half, but they didn’t need to do much to secure its second win of the year. Their record now is even at 2-2, as they continue to improve and try to put themselves back into the College Football Playoff conversation.

Notre Dame will return to the field next weekend as they’ll host the Boise State Broncos, in what should be a fairly competitive contest.
