UFC Fight Night 260 on Saturday was derided going in as one of the promotion’s least anticipated events of the year.
And while fan response on the front end wasn’t great – particularly publicly – the event in Perth, Australia, still produced some solid highlights, especially on the main card.
The main card had four stoppages in five fights, including three submissions – one of which is going to go down as a controversial one, given the winner seemed to have been finished in the first round and was allowed to continue. Neil Magny’s win over Jake Matthews – who was the only Australian or New Zealander to lose out of 11 on the show – will be talked about for a while.
