Jones was born and brought up in Wales before her playing career took her across the border.
And despite wearing the Red Rose of England, she says there was – and will always be – a part of her that is flying the Welsh flag.
She and Ammanford-born England team mate Lucy Packer shared a special moment at Twickenham after the final whistle.
“We’re so proud of being Welsh, our heritage and everything that comes with that,” said Jones.
“I grabbed her at the end and said ‘imagine two little mushes like us getting to a World Cup final.’
“That’s just who we are.
“It gives us that little bit of fire power as well. Have you never not met a proud Welsh person? We feel the same and we’re happy to fly the flag for them as well.”
