Ospreys will have to wait slightly longer for the return of their captain Jac Morgan after the British and Irish Lion picked up a knock during testing.
Morgan had been due to travel to South Africa with his side for their United Rugby Championship (URC) games against Bulls and Stormers.
But head coach Mark Jones said he was unable to fly after picking up “a minor calf issue” while taking part in physical testing with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU).
“He probably wasn’t going to be able to do anything for around a week so we didn’t feel flying him out to do minimal training here would be beneficial to him long-term,” said Jones from Cape Town.
