Bryan Battle booked for non-PFL bout despite recent signing

Less than one month after news broke of his signing with PFL, Battle is booked again for Dirty Boxing as he takes on Nick Kohring at DBX 4. The event takes place Oct. 30 at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tenn.

Battle, 30, competed at DBX 3 and made quick work of Derik de Freitas. Battle won by TKO in 56 seconds.

The fight was his first following his UFC release due to consecutive weight misses, including one less than two weeks prior. Battle departed the UFC with a 7-1 record under the promotion’s banner.

Kohring, 35, is a 13-2 pro MMA fighter who also is 1-0 in bareknuckle boxing.
