Martin joins women’s basketball stars Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, Lexie Hull, Paige Bueckers, Napheesa Collier, Jackie Young, Breanna Stewart and many more as confirmed members of the 2026 season.

A member of the Hawkeyes‘ program from 2019-24, Martin finished her Iowa career averaging 8 points per game on 46.4% shooting from the floor, including 35.5% from 3-point territory and 82.4% from the charity stripe through 139 starts in 163 games. Martin also averaged 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per contest throughout her career in Iowa City.

In her final two seasons, Martin was a core piece as the Hawkeyes made back-to-back trips to the national championship game. During the 2023-24 campaign with Iowa, Martin averaged 13.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game on 50.7% shooting.

While Marin was a sparkplug off the bench for the Valkyries through the franchise’s inaugural season, the Bay Area has quickly embraced the former Hawkeye’s light-hearted personality and ability to bring much-needed energy to the team.

The Unrivaled season is set to tip off on Jan. 5, 2026, with games to be broadcast on TNT and truTV and streaming on HBO Max.
