The Indiana Fever finished this season better than last year despite being hit with the injury bug.
In 2024, they went 20-20 in Caitlin Clark’s rookie year, getting eliminated in the first round of the WNBA playoffs.

This year, they reached the semifinals and lost to the eventual WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces without Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, Aari McDonald and Chloe Bibby.
Two of the biggest contributors with all those players out were Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston.
They were rewarded Friday with All-WNBA selections, as Mitchell earned First Team honors and Boston earned Second Team honors.
After the news dropped, the Fever social media team shared a post to react to it.

“first duo in franchise history to be named to an All-WNBA team in the same season since 2010,” the Fever said.
The last two Fever players to be named to the All-WNBA team in 2010 were Tamika Catchings (All-WNBA First-Team) and Katie Douglas (All-WNBA Second Team).
Mitchell had herself a season to remember, averaging 20.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists. She was also named a league MVP finalist, which Aces star A’ja Wilson eventually won.
Boston also had a big season, averaging 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

Fans won’t have to wait too long to see them back on the court as both of them will take part in the second season of Unrivaled’s three-on-three league.
The Unrivaled season will begin in January 2026, with many other WNBA stars playing, too.
