The SEC on Monday announced kickoff times and TV broadcast information for its Week 9 conference slate, including Alabama football‘s road trip to Williams-Brice Stadium to face South Carolina.
Alabama-South Carolina will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 18. The game will be televised on ABC. It will mark the Crimson Tide’s sixth straight game on “the Alphabet Network.”

Former Crimson Tide head coach Mike Shula, who is in his first season as the Gamecocks’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, will call the plays for South Carolina and quarterback LaNorris Sellers. Shula joined coach Shane Beamer’s staff as a senior offensive assistant coach in 2024.
Alabama (5-1 overall, 3-0) and coach Kalen DeBoer are coming off a 27-24 win over the Missouri Tigers in Week 7 on Saturday. The Crimson Tide rose two more spots to No. 6 in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 poll following their fifth straight win.
South Carolina (3-3, 1-3) lost, 20-10, to LSU on Saturday at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge. The Gamecocks are unranked in the top 25 polls after being ranked No. 13 in the preseason.
Alabama defeated South Carolina, 27-25, at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Oct. 12 last year after an interception from Domani Jackson as time expired. The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series against the Gamecocks, 14-3. Alabama beat South Carolina in its last trip to Columbia, 47-23, on Sept. 14, 2019.

Alabama hosts the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers (5-1, 2-1) in the annual Third Saturday in October rivalry at 6:30 p.m. CT at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa in Week 8. The game will be televised on ABC.
