Arizona is ranked No. 13 in the 2025-26 Associated Press Top 25 men’s college basketball preseason poll, released on Monday, Oct. 13.
ESPN projects the Wildcats’ starting lineup will include Peat, a top player in Perry’s championship dynasty of four consecutive state championships, including the past three in the Open Division.
Arizona’s remaining projected starters are returnees Jaden Bradley and Anthony Dell’Orso; Peat’s fellow 2025 McDonald’s All-American, Brayden Burries; and power forward Tobe Awaka.
LeBron James’ son Bryce is a freshman on Arizona’s roster, too.
