The Lady Vols will tip off their 2025-26 basketball season Nov. 4 in a neutral-site game. Tennessee will play North Carolina State in the Ro Greensboro Invitational.
The season opening matchup will be contested in Greensboro, North Carolina at 4 p.m. EST (ESPN2).

Tennessee enters its 2025-26 campaign ranked No. 8 in the preseason AP Poll. UConn (1), South Carolina (2), UCLA (3), Texas (4), LSU (5), Oklahoma (6), Duke (7), North Carolina State (9) and Maryland (10) are also ranked in the top 10.
The Lady Vols’ first home game is slated for Nov. 7 versus East Tennessee State. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. EST at Food City Center (SEC Network+).
The 2025-26 campaign will be the second for the Lady Vols under head coach Kim Caldwell.
Tennessee is projected to finish fourth in the 2025-26 SEC women’s basketball standings, behind South Carolina, Texas and LSU.
