Coach Dawn Staley is in her 17th season with the program and has been to five straight Final Fours. Staley’s teams have been ranked in the AP Top 25 every week since Dec. 10, 2012, the second-longest active streak in the nation and ninth-longest all-time.
There are five SEC teams in the top 10, and eight overall. Of those five conference teams, the Gamecocks beat all of them during the 2024-25 season, splitting the series with Texas 1-1 in the regular season then went 2-0 against the Longhorns in the postseason.
