Indiana Fever Guard Sends Message to Angel Reese on Thursday

by

Angel Reese continues to make waves this WNBA offseason. After a year that saw her dominate on the court — averaging 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds in what was another historic campaign — the Chicago Sky star is now flourishing off the court as well.

Aside from returning to her podcast, launching her shoes with Reebok and even getting her own billboard, Reese also made history recently by becoming the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Reese officially accomplished the feat on Wednesday when she appeared as a Victoria’s Secret Angel and walked the runway in Brooklyn, New York.

Naturally, Reese’s WNBA peers were quick to react to her achievement. Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers was hyped up and commented, “Strutted your stuff,” on the Sky forward’s post about her big moment.

On Thursday, another WNBA player celebrated Reese’s achievement. Odyssey Sims — who joined the Indiana Fever on a short-term hardship contract late in the 2025 season due to the team’s injuries — was supportive of Reese and shared her joy for the 23-year-old.

“She killed it!!!! YESSS!!!!” Sims wrote as she shared a video of Reese walking the runway. She also tagged the Sky All-Star in her post.

For what it’s worth, Sims is not the only Fever player to send a message about Reese. Sydney Colson had a similar comment, noting that the former LSU star “looked tf goodt doing iiittt.”

While both the Sky and Fever have a rivalry because of Caitlin Clark and Reese, it hasn’t affected the players’ relationship off the basketball court.

It’s not the first time Sims has shown love for Reese. In fact, when Reese announced her Victoria’s Secret move, Sims was among the first to react and highlighted how “different” her “sis” was.

Clearly, Sims has all the respect and admiration for Reese regardless of their team affiliations and rivalry.
