The Georgia Bulldogs have won three games in a row after beating the Ole Miss Rebels 43-35. Georgia used a dominant fourth quarter performance to overcome a nine-point deficit against the Rebels.
The Bulldogs got a fantastic performance from quarterback Gunner Stockton, who finished the day with 348 total yards and five total touchdowns. Three of Stockton’s touchdown passes went to tight end Lawson Luckie. The Bulldogs did not punt all game and scored on all eight of their possessions (excludes kneel downs at the end of the game). Despite Georgia’s offensive success, the Bulldogs did have some bad news. Leading wide receiver (entering the Ole Miss game) Colbie Young suffered a broken leg and will miss significant time.

Georgia kicker Peyton Woodring made three field goals including a 51-yarder. The Georgia defense got three stops late in the game after allowing Ole Miss to score touchdowns on their first five possessions of the game. The Bulldogs got a couple of batted balls to end the game including one from Miami transfer Josh Horton on Ole Miss’ final offensive play of the game.
One big factor in Georgia’s late-game turnaround against Ole Miss was the fans. After the game, Georgia fans and media had a lot to say on social media.
