Just a week after Southlake Carroll’s Riley Dodge notched career victory No. 100, it was Allen head coach Lee Wiginton’s turn to pull off a career accomplishment.

With the Eagles’ 55-7 victory over Plano West last week, Wiginton earned career victory No. 200 for his high school coaching career, according to the Allen Eagles’ social media team from Saturday morning. Wiginton now has a career coaching record of 200-108 overall.

A Lampasas High graduate and former Angelo State football player, Wiginton began his coaching career In 1993 and has since transformed programs aoross Texas, from Bosquevlile and Comfort to Mexia, Midlothlan, and Midlothlan Herltage, before taking the helm at Allen In 2022. Across his 30+ year career, Wiginton has led his teams to the playoffs at every stop, bullt multiple district championship programs, and accumulated over 200 career wins with an overall record of 182-102 prior to Joining Allen.
