Anyone who watched Saturday’s Oregon Ducks game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights would know that tight end Kenyon Sadiq balled out. He caught two touchdown passes, tying his career high in a single game, both in acrobatic fashion.
In all, the junior finished with four catches for 80 yards and those two scores, leading the team in all three categories as the Ducks routed the Scarlet Knights, 56-10. Sadiq was no slouch as a blocker either, helping lead the way on several Oregon rushing scores.

The performance gave him the highest grade (92.1) of all tight ends in the country in Week 9 according to PFF College.
Entering the season, high expectations were placed upon Sadiq.
Quarterback Dante Moore even called him “the best tight end in the country.” Coming in at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, Sadiq has the size and athleticism to be a difference-maker all over the field and the talent that has him rated by many as a potential first-round pick as soon as 2026 if he decides to declare. He flashed his talent in the 2024 Big Ten title game, as he scored a pair of touchdowns and showed off his patented run-after-catch hurdle on his way to the end zone.

Through the start of the season, Sadiq hadn’t quite had a banner performance. Sure, he’d caught six passes for 49 yards in the Ducks‘ 30-24 double overtime victory over Penn State, but he failed the reach the end zone.
Against Rutgers, he couldn’t not find the end zone — something Oregon hopes is a regularity during the final stretch of the regular-season and into the postseason.
